  • Hospitalization is not limited to Botswana, satisfactory proof of hospitalization has to be submitted for claims outside Botswana to be considered.
  • The death benefit of P10 000 on the main life assured and spouse.
  • The plan covers up to 6 children between the ages of 1-21 years. Children in full education at recognized institutions are covered up to the age of 25 years.
  • Minimum entry age of 18 years to a maximum of 60 years.
  • Minimum term of 5 years with a maximum term being the number of years remaining to 65 years.
  • No claims bonus payable every 3 years equal to 10% of expected premiums.
  • Loyalty bonus (cashback) payable every 5 years equal to 10% of expected premiums. Hospitalization benefits will double if one is in ICU.
  • A waiting period on hospitalization claim of 3 days and then qualify for benefits from the first day.
  • A waiting period of 4 months on hospitalization cover is required.
  • The waiting period is subject to full payment of premiums.
